The Ambassador Ottoman Bed brings together classic buttoned styling and smart, space saving storage. The headboard is the standout feature, tall with deep button detailing and a contrasting plain border that gives the bed a confident, grand look.

This version sits on a streamlined ottoman base that lines up exactly with the mattress width and length, which makes it a strong option for rooms where every inch counts. The base lifts from the foot end to reveal generous hidden storage underneath, useful for bedding, pillows or seasonal items you don’t want cluttering the room. With no traditional side rails or footboard in the way, the Ambassador delivers a lot of storage without adding any extra bulk to the room. It is handmade to order in any size, fabric and colour finish, a design that stays timeless while still being genuinely practical.

Dimensions

Each bed is handmade, which can lead to slight variations. Please allow a tolerance of at least 1 inch either way on the figures below.

If you have specific size requirements, note them at checkout, though these are still subject to the same 1 inch tolerance. Our team is happy to help with guidance or extra measurements if you need them.

The figures below are for the bed frame itself, measured at the widest and longest points, meaning the width of the headboard and the overall length including both headboard and foot end. All beds are built to fit standard UK mattresses.

Before ordering, please double check the bed will fit your space and can be moved through doorways, staircases and any tight corners on the way in.

 Custom Orders

If you have made custom changes to your order, we will need to confirm the details with you by phone before production starts. Your lead time only begins once every detail has been fully confirmed.

Delivery Service

We offer a professional two man delivery service covering most of the UK mainland, though some postcodes are excluded, so it is worth checking coverage for your address before ordering. Choose from the options below.

1. Delivery Only (£79), our team delivers your item to the room of your choice.
2. Delivery and Assembly (£149), our team delivers your item to the room of your choice, assembles it, and removes all the packaging, so there is nothing left for you to deal with.

Deliveries are available to the ground, first or second floor, unless lift access is available for higher floors.

Before delivery, our team will contact you by SMS or phone to arrange a date, then again the day before with an estimated time window. Please note deliveries can start from 6am.

Important Delivery Notes

• If you decline assembly, please inspect your items for damage before signing the delivery note. We cannot take responsibility for issues reported after the delivery team has left.
• Any issues should be noted on the delivery form and reported to us within 48 hours.
• Missed delivery appointments will incur an extra charge.
• Rearranging a delivery needs at least 10 working days’ notice. Requests made with less notice will be charged a £79 re-delivery fee plus an £80 holding fee.

Weather and Traffic Delays

We aim to deliver on time, but adverse weather or heavy traffic can occasionally cause delays. If this happens, we will keep you informed and work to reschedule your delivery as quickly as we can.
